CEGID PLANS TO DOUBLE REVS BY 2026 Featured

 Cegid, which makes retail and ERP software, has published “Forward 2026” strategic plan this month. Among the goals are double revenue to roughly $1.36 billion by 2026.

Under its first five-year plan, the company double revenue and is forecasting 2021 revenue will be approximately $662 million, 66 percent generated from cloud sales. Along with selling 100-percent cloud products, Cegid plans to develop its own applications which will comprise 80-percent of revenue in four years. It will remain focused on Finance, Human Resources, CPAs, Retail and entrepreneurial sectors-and t top target becoming one of the top three players in each market. Cegid’s CEO Pascal Houillon was CEO of Sage North America from January 2011 through May 2011. The company plans to pursue international growth and to grow via acquiring other companies or products. Its international markets include Spain, Portugal, Germany, Benelux, Denmark and United States, Canada, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru.
