INTUIT OPTS FOR SHOPIFY POS Featured

Intuit has teamed with Shopify as a preferred POS provider for a package that integrates with QuickBooks Desktop. That deal was reached as Intuit is discontinuing QB Desktop Point of Sale as of October 3.

The Intuit product was introduced more than 20 years ago and a number of Intuit's resellers--QuickBooks Solutions Providers--have built their businesses around the QB POS. . "It is a big hit for a lot of people in the QSP program. Luckily, we are well-diversified and are able to continue growth in other area," notes Mario Nowogrodzki, owner of Mendelson Consulting, a QSP. With the change, Intuit says POS customers who migrate to Shopify will receive a 50-percent discount on POS software and select hardware with Shopify Payments, plus a free tap and chip card reader and free e-commerce. A free migration too, premium, guided onboarding and free support will be provided by. Shopify.
