SAGE NABS IBM AS SPONSOR
There doesn't look like there has been much change in the exhibitor's and sponsor's lists for next month's Sage Summit user conference, with one major exception. And that exception is that Sage got IBM as its premier sponsor. This is a good catch for the show, for the drawing power of the IBM name even if maybe somebody had to cut a price deal to get the company in corrale (I have no idea if that happened).
At top of the sponsor pile, IBM pays $20,000, if I can believe the schedule. That dips through Gold, Silver and Bronze levels. There are parallel level for healthcare sponsorship. Alpha II is the Gold healthcare sponsor, the only metallic-level sponsor and there's no gold sponsor for the general Sage product family. IBM also chipped in as the healthcare keynote sponsor and Fujitsu Computer Products shelled out to sponsor the healthcare reception. Wolters Kluwer Health (a sister to CCH) came in as the conference guide sponsor and as a session presentation sponsor for healthcare. This is the first time the healthcare folks have been allowed in. Maybe the exhibitors can hand out swine flu vaccine. But seriously, it's going to be an interesting mix in what has been a strongly Timberline crowd. I notice that Avalara, a big sponsor last year and which was on the exhibitor list in September, doesn't seem to be listed anymore.
