SAGE TRIMS SAGESPARK

sage spark logoSage has killed three services of SageSpark, its online application suite and portal for small businesses. According to the SageSpark website, the company has discontinued Payment Plus, Payment Boss and Known Locally, the latter a website hosting service, effective July 31. Billing Boss, with 2.8 million customers in the United States and Canada, remains on the market.

When it was launched in April 2009, SageSpark was touted as a vehicle for bringing very small organizations into the market for Sage services and products. Billing Boss, an invoicing application, was introduced at that time. The site also promotes the more recent Sage Payment Solutions, which is the payment system of choice across most Sage lines, and apparently is assuming the same role for Spark customers.
