What everyone is wondering is if there is something in the works for ERP, although it's hard to envision how Microsoft would release an Internet-based version without ending up with a fifth ERP product or offering a Web-based version of one or two on-premise products and signaling the ultimate fate of the other two. I have not heard much confidence from the channel on the possibility that there's some killer product in the labs waiting to spring forth and mow down the competition. In fact, I've heard normally loyal Microsoft VARs doubting there is movement on the ERP side.
