LONGVIEW SOLUTIONS LAUNCHES V. 7
Longview Solutions, a division of Exact Software, has released Longview 7, which the company called a major release that touched virtually every aspect of the architecture of its CPM software.
Longview 7 follows the previous release which was known as Khalix V3. The user interface for users and system administrators has been completely redesigned to Microsoft standards (which suggests Khalix was aging seriously). Enhancements to data visualization made it role-based and drillable down to originating source transactions. The company also said its service-oriented architecture has improved its interoperability with third-party applications such as Oracle Applications, SAP R/3, JD Edwards and PeopleSoft.
