The prepared statement from principals David Cieslak and Bob Gaby will be getting some play in the market space. Cieslak's quote in the press release was “The product is fantastic. Its suite of modules, ability to integrate with other best-of-breed applications, and on-demand architecture make it a very attractive choice for SMBs.” Arxis had previously stayed away from Intacct with the belief that it was a good product, but not full-featured enough. I'm guessing that the belief that ByD is too much for the space, and the apparent stall out of channel development in this country, could have gone into this move. Arxis is a prominent Sage reseller and carries most of the line, whose new paint-by-numbers names I haven't absorbed yet.
