ACUMATICA ADDS PROJECT ACCOUNTING

acumatica logoAcumatica has added project accounting to its software suite with the availability of Version 3.0. And that goes to the head of a class because one reseller interviewed a few months ago chose Intacct over Acumatica primarily because the latter lacked that capability. Given the Solomon roots of the product and many of the resellers it has attracted, project accounting is an important addition.

The company said new features are designed to appeal to nonprofits and multi-location businesses. Project Accounting elements include budgeting, managing timesheets, tracking materials, billing, accounting and reporting. There is also inter-company accounting for organizations with multiple business entities that require separate financial reporting. Organizations can establish branches and subsidiaries that rely upon centralized operations including purchasing and cash management.
