The latest update targets online retailers. Clients can now place a URL that launches a certificate creation wizard anywhere on their websites. This gives them more options for collecting certificates from their exempt customers and customers do not have to leave the shopping cart. AvaTax Certs provides exemption certificate verification, electronic storage and accessibility, transaction and certificate association, and expiration monitoring and renewal notification. Of course, the real question of AvaTax Certs is whether its two mints in one. (For those who remember).
