"I will be reaching out to partners in these markets a couple of at a time," Miller said this week. The network's goal is to establish relationships with Sage resellers, which may lead to acquisitions. Net@Work has acquired 12 firms as a result of other resellers joining its program, the most recent being Huckstep & Associates of Springfield, Mo. Miller outlined a series of primary markets and secondary markets that he will seek to develop. The primary markets are Philadelphia, Pa.; Baltimore, Md.; the Washington D.C. area; Charlotte, N.C.; Atlanta, Ga.; Orlando and Miami, Fla.; Minneapolis, Minn.; Chicago, Ill.; and Detroit, Mich. The alliance plan also aims "to put more meat in the relationship," says Miller. Besides providing access to Sage products at a good price, program members also get access to other Net@Work product lines such as SharePoint and document management.

NET@WORK SCALES BACK NETWORK Featured
New York-based reseller Net@Work has scaled back its plans for a national network of Sage resellers under its Partner Alliance Program. The company followed the recommendations of Tom Miller, who joined the firm in July after leading Sage's channel, to retool the existing program. Miller said Net@Work followed his advice to concentrate on the East Coast and upper Midwest even though it has offices in other regions and in Canada.
