XERO, KMPG LINK IN SINGAPORE Featured

 Rod Drury, XeroCloud software vendor Xero has extended its relationship with Big Four accounting and consulting firm KPMG to Singapore. This follows the New Zealand-based cloud company's establishment of relationships with Singapore with KPMG member firms in the United Kingdom and in Xero's home country. Xero said KMPG in Singapore became the Platinum Partner for Xero in Asia and the first outside of its four major markets, the U.K., U.S., New Zealand and Australia.

Under the relationship, Xero users receive access to services from KPMG professionals, including "accounts preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, GST and filing of corporate tax returns," according to the Xero press release announcing the deal. A Platinum Partner in Xero's parlance has more than 500 customers. "We have lots of Singapore businesses on Xero," said CEO Rod Drury. "This means KPMG is going hard on Xero."
