EPICOR OFFERS RETAIL RELEASE
Epicor Software has rolled out Epicor Eagle Release 21, a retail system that was announced at the National Retail Federation Show this week in New York. Epicor said the latest version offers “New and improved access to real-time performance data and streamlined inventory planning tools support improved speed and accuracy of decision making for better business performance.”
New gadgets include the Eagle Performance Manager, which provides dashboards, scorecards and reports, and Eagle Inventory Planner which analyzes sales data and makes forecasts. There is also POS Touch that is a package of four tools: a touchscreen terminal, consumer display, fingerprint reader and digital receipts. In the mobile arena, Eagle Mobile Manager supports iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch and Android devices. A Mobile POS application can be used by consumers on the sales floor.
