INNER CIRCLE NAMES SEEPING OUT Featured

MicrosoftMicrosoft has named the Dynamics Inner Circle members for 2015 at its Worldwide Partner Conference. However, the company apparently has not posted a list of those or  members of the President's Club, as it usually does. So names are emerging as individual companies issue press releases.  U.S. winners that have tooted their horns include Blue Horsehoe, mcaConnect, Rand Group, Socius and Western Computer. First impressions: it's a heavily AX club.

Fewer President's Club names have hit the wire—WebSan Solutions is one. And this year, Microsoft set up the rules so that companies will no longer be listed in both. Columbus U.S. made Inner Circle, but Interdyn BMI, purchased this year by Columbus, did not, very interesting since earlier this year, Columbus said its North American business had a 14-percent drop in revenue. Buying BMI appeared to be a step in turning things around. So far, none of the accounting firms that were chosen in 2014 have issued releases. However, given the scattered PR that has emerged, it is too early to conclude which resellers did not repeat. Similarly, some VARs selected to "Partner of the Year" winners and finalists in categories prior to WPC have not been heard from. Several non-U.S. companies has made announcements—but I avoid trying to list 60 winners and stick to U.S. and Canadian names. Montreal, Quebec-based Negotium Technologies was helpful in stating it was the only Canadian channel member chosen. Negotium also has offices in Sacramento, Calif., and Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
