NETSUITE TO CONTINUE MOVE UP MARKET

Ron Gill, NetSuiteNetSuite is continuing its move up market and the company and the sales force for reaching larger organizations is growing at a faster rate than other parts of the NetSuite business. That description was given as CFO Ron Gill addressed the Morgan Stanley Technology Media and Telecom conference this week. Gill noted that the most important product direction for addressing enterprises is a deep vertical focus.

The inability to serve the largest companies is "not because you can't process the volume," he said and continued that these prospects "have a sophisticated need for solution and you haven’t build out that solutions." NetSuite is emphasizing deepening functionality in verticals in which it is doing well, including professional services, ecommerce and software. Gill said the most frequent competitor that NetSuite sees in deals is Dynamics GP, often coupled with Salesforce.com. However, NetSuite often works with Salesforce. "NetSuite to Salesforce is one of the most common integrations we do now," Gill said. NetSuite competes with SAP's online Business ByDesign "a little bit," but more often goes against SAP Business One and the SAP Business Suite.
