I attended to the first, which was long on trying to use expensive events and flash, instead of trying to actually understanding what the press wants and trying to provide it. This year Intuit has added editions in London, England, on March 6 and 7; in Sydney, Australia, in May; and Toronto, Canada, in the fall. The San Jose timing is later than the date for the first three, which makes my attendance more likely. The other notable thing is the jam up in May which impacts vendors and the press more than it does attendees. There's Avalara Crush, May 3 to 5, Austin, Texas; Sage Summit, May 9 to 11, Atlanta, Ga.; Macola Evolve, 17 to 18, New Orleans, La., and Epicor Insights, May 22 to 25, Nashville, Tenn. Avalara's event was held in May last year but Sage moved its show from July; Macola and Epicor both from April. 2016 At least NetSuite SuiteWorld, historically held in May, was pulled forward to April 24 to 27 in Las Vegas.
