When Explore submitted its application for Bob Scott’s Top 100 VARs for 2017, it said it had 55 people and $10.3 million in revenue for the year ended Dec. 31, 2016. The press release announcing the deal reported nearly 60 professionals would join RSM. For the last few years, RSM has topped the Top 100 and its latest revenue report submitted for Bob Scott’s VAR Stars for 2017 showed revenue for $271.1 million. It remains to be seen if that stands with DXC’s purchase last year of Tribridge which has been combined into DXC Eclipse. Tribridge was expected to have $180 million in revenue. It remains to be seen if DXC is willing to give any guidance on Eclipse, but the two together would probably exceed the last RSM numbers. Co-founders Steve Jones, CEO, and Jeremy DeSpain, COO, will join RSM as consulting principals.
