The new members announced at the ITA Spring Collaborative recently in Nashville, Tenn., were Cohen & Company, an accounting firm which joined the association's Internal Technology leader group. The other new members are Templeton Solutions, an accounting and reselling firm based in West Palm Beach, Fla., which had previously been an association member, and Hendrickson Consulting. The latter was recently started by John Hendrickson, who founded reseller Interdyn BMI, which was acquired by Columbus. Henrickson retired from Columbus on January 31. In April 2017, he moved from the reselling business to become Columbus’ SVP of business transformation. Acute was an association of accountants in public firms that used IBM computers. As the market changed, IBM withdrew its support and the group became ITA and concentrated on the reselling business. It later established a separate track for IT leaders of accounting firms in the Top 100.
