JOBBOSS EDUCATION EFFORT STARTS Featured

Jeff Ralyea, ECI Software Solutions ECI Software Solutions has begun an effort to promote its JobBoss manufacturing package through an educational program. The Fort Worth, Texas-based company, which also owns Macola and Max, said it has added content on ERP best practices of the TITANS of CNC: Academy.

ECI says its goal is “to help restore the U.S. as a worldwide leader in manufacturing by educating the next generation of talent. The educational effort stems from an alliance between ECI and Titan Gilroy, who implemented JobBoss in his Computer Numerical Control shop in Rocklin, Calif. Gilroy is behind the Academy, which “creates educational content on all aspects of CNC manufacturing and provides opportunities for manufacturing leaders by building up businesses and workers using the Academy as a free learning platform.” The Academy’s curriculum has been adopted by more than 2,500 educational institutes. Jeff Ralyea, ECi Manufacturing Division president, said in a prepared statement, “We’re also completely aligned in our commitment to help SMB manufacturers grow by filling the skills gap with young talent that comes equipped with skills developed through the TITANS of CNC: Academy.”
