“Control Center is providing an end-to-end view of a supply chain,” Heidi Benko, VP of product management for Infor’s supply chain business, said in a keynote presentation. Infor says the tool links with GT Nexus Commerce Network, a cloud-based, multi-enterprise commerce network, with Infor’s Coleman Artificial Intelligence capabilities. Infor also said Coleman is now generally available. Benko said that as part of the process, “Coleman is constantly observing that and looking for signals” and telling decision makers “Here is what you need to focus on today.” Infor says the center “senses network flow through a series of live-control points.” Further, the company said, “Even before a problem appears, the system knows that something isn’t right and determines if action is necessary. If so, Control Center prescribes action and measures results to learn and improve over time.” A product page says, “Infor Coleman Machine Learning captures what is material in context, escalates issues without manual intervention, identifies implications, and prescribes an optimal response.”
