CDC SAYS LICENSE REVENUE WILL MEET STREET ESTIMATE
CDC Software Corp., which markets Ross Systems and Pivotal software, said its expects its license revenue to range from $7.4 million to $7.6 million for the third quarter ended September 30.
That compares to $7.8 million a year earlier and $7.1 million in the first quarter of this year. License revenue from new businesses increased to 24 pecent of license revenue from 12 percent in last year's corresponding period. The company said of the top 10 deals during the most recently ended quarter, six were in the food and beverage and financial services/insurance markets. CDC said the figures will meet or beat Wall Street's consensus on reported revenue.
