Mike Silver, AcumaticaAcumatica has beefed up its channel team with two hires. The most interesting is the naming of Mike Silver to lead partner consulting. Silver founded Omnios which was purchased by the SBS Group. Not surprisingly, Silver's roots as in selling Solomon, which is the architectural ancestor of Acumatica's application.
Silver, a CPA, had been a VP at SBS since the purchase of Omnios in March 2010. Chatterjee was manager of business development at Altum from March 2010 to this month.  He was a national account manager at Sage for seven months with his Everest experience lasting from January 2000 to August 2009. The company also promoted Ken Del Gobbo, who has been with Acumatica since 2009, to senior director of channel development. Del Gobbo served at some of the time-honored names in the business. He was with the former SBT Accounting System for nine years, Solomon Software for three years six months, and was employed by AccountMate in July 2000 to December 2001 and again from November 2005 to June 2009.
