BLYTHECO'S WEBSITE MESSAGE TO SAGE

Steve Blythe, BlythecoBlytheco is sending a clear message via its website. And it's the message that the company and its owner Steve Blythe have been sending for the last few months -- that it is increasing its CRM business and turning to cloud products. Since Sage has no cloud ERP products, well ...
The homepage of Sage's perennial top reseller has a bright rotating flash display that starts with NetSuite, moves to Sugar CRM, then to InsideView, a promotion for the company's beer industry strategy and finally promotes Bellwether, the free Blytheco magazine. Yes, there is information about Sage products, including a tab for "Sage software price quote" beneath the display for all those other products in the rotation. And there is a list of Sage products down the page's left side, but it is text heavy and not so prominent. What is that saying about faint praise? I think it goes for small type as well. Of course, earlier Blythe had a post on his website headlined ""Why the Sage Rebranding Idea is Just Plain Stupid." Then there's the home page tab labeled "Products" The drop-down menu that appears starts with NetSuite and then goes through the crowded list of Sage offerings. The same thing is true if  you visit the "Welcome to Blytheco" page - NetSuite is first.  Hit the buttons named "Training" and "Webinars" and Sage is the first offering for each of those drop downs. But that's not quite the same. Also interesting is that the company got the new information up quickly on NetSuite and SugarCRM. But it still lists the old MAS and Accpac names for Sage's accounting products.
