HIGHTOWER EXECS BACK IN BIZ
The two leaders of the former Hightower are back in business. Robert Nordin, president of the former Chicago-area Sage reseller, is now a partner of a Sage developer called Erpdevelopers. Former Hightower CEO Jeff Rosengarden isn't shown on the new company's website, but his email address was included as a contact in a recent mailing to customers.
The company supports and installs Sage 100, but does not sell the software. It performs custom programming and provides Sage e-Business Manager enhancements and hosting. Hightower, which had been an important Sage reseller and developer, went bust this spring and its assets were purchased by SWK Technologies of Livingston, N.J. Erpdevelopers is described in a mailing as having "a staff rich in experience and modifications of these ERP solutions as well as a deep reservoir of knowledge regarding the actual nuts and bolts of modules comprising MAS 90 + MAS 200."
