INFOR ALLIES WITH B&D; BUYS CANADIAN OPS
Maybe we now know why Business & Decision sold its Dynamics AX practice to Interdyn AKA last month. It's going to get a lot busier. This week, Infor announced a new partnership with B&D, an international consulting company and systems integrator. The agreement is expected to make more trained consultants available to Infor ERP customers.
Besides working with Infor10 ERP Enterprise, B&D is also focusing on Lawson M3 ERP Enterprise, Infor10 EAM, Infor10 CRM Enterprise, Inforce Everywhere, Infor10 Corporate Performance Management, Infor10 PLM Discrete, and Infor's Business Intelligence offerings. Meanwhile, Infor acquired channel partner, Le Groupe Laurier CIM, which resells Infor10 Distribution Business (SX.e) to the Distribution market in Canada. Montreal-based Laurier has operations in Toronto and has 70 customers and 30 employees. It has completed localizations for the distribution product. Laurier also sells IBM pSeries and xSeries servers.
