ORISOFT SOLD TO MANAGERS
Exact has sold its Malaysian-based Orisoft Technology subsidiary to the unit's management team. The sale follows July's announcement that Exact had decided Orisoft, which it acquired in 2009, was a non-core business. Orisoft markets HR applications, along with packages for time and attendance management, payroll administration and employee self services.
It offers these, along with business analytic and reporting tools in Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia and Vietnam. When Exact announced its planned divestment, it also organized the company into two business units: Cloud Solutions for Exact Online and Business Solutions for traditional software Globe Next, Synergy Enterprise and Exact Financials. The company also placed Longview, Lohn XL and its U.S. manufacturing products into Specialized Solutions, a group within Business Solutions.
