MBS NAMES MARKETING VP

Wayne Microsoft, MicrosoftWayne Morris has been named as marketing vice president at Microsoft Business Solutions. Morris was briefly a strategic advisor for online budgeting software company Adaptive Planning after leaving MyDials where he was CEO from September 2006 through August and he was SVP of worldwide marketing at McData from January 2005 to March 2006.

Morris was also CEO of  Citec from July 2001 to November 2004, until it was acquired by Schneider Electric. Morris is the second corporate VP to be named at the unit this year. Both reflected the July departure of Michael Park as VP of sales and operations. Park left MBS to become a VP with the Windows Server and Management Product Marketing Group.  His job was split with Morris getting the marketing end and Neil Hollowing, an executive with Microsoft U.K., taking over the other part as VP of sales and operations.
