SAP LETS CHANNEL INTO PARTNEREDGE

Sap logoSAP has expanded its PartnerEdge program to enable members of its channel resell, service and build applications on top of the SAP Cloud. SAP says it has simplified the process by replacing contracts for individual products with a single contract. The company is also bringing 500 members of the Success Factors channel into the program.

SAP acquired Success Factors in 2012, which along with Ariba were its two big acquisitions last year. SAP says it is also helping the channel boost profitability by offering quarterly payments in arrears for its cloud products. SAP says the annual run rate for its cloud products has now exceeded $1 billion. As SAP becomes more channel friendly, it makes an interesting contrast to those vendors that are becoming less channel friendly. But there’s no need to name names, now, is there?
