SAGE ONE AT RETAIL; AND WHY?

There’s a better chance the boxes will be kicked to pieces by the feet of shoppers walking by than of someone looking at them since not only is the display virtually invisible, but also very few people coming to Staples are likely to have heard of Sage, much less know what Sage One is. The question is why a company would do this? If you are going to be in retail, then pay the chains their tax for doing business, er, for displaying your product. Having worked at a company that covered retail merchandising, I absorbed enough knowledge to state that a display like this will not gain anything so why do it? This newsletter's article on the introduction of Sage One to the U.S. market nearly a year ago stated that Sage "slopped" the product into this country and I don't see any indication of intelligent life in the Sage One product management team. They should consider hiring some English speakers to handle Sage One in the U.S.
