DYNAMICS EXCELLENCE AWARDS; A 'BIG' EVENT

Dynamics logoThe Dynamics Excellence Awards, which are given to customers, are a big event, big in the sense that the resellers associated with the winners largely represent the large fry. In particular, four Hitachi Solutions America and two Edgewater Fullscope customers won awards. Tribridge, which has more than $100 million in revenue, had one winning client. Fullscope is somewhere in mid to upper $20-million-range and Hitachi mixes in its Dynamics business with a lot of higher end stuff, which makes it outsize for this market.
Of course, having the big do well is not much different than last year. What is noticeably different from 2012 is a year ago, three CPA firms, Armanino, McGladrey and Frank, Rimerman Consulting, had four clients that received the awards. This year, the CPAs were blanked. One notable repeat by a smaller business went to ABC Computers, which had a client receive an award last year and this year. The last submission of revenue from ABC was for this year's VAR Stars and came in at $5.8 million. Sunrise Technologies, a $17.6 million business, also got into the act with its client David Giambruno of Revlon receiving the Business Visionary Award. Among some of the other channel members with award-winning clients the story generally looks the same. UXC Eclipse has more than 400 employees while Pariveda Solutions has 329 employees just on Linkedin. On the pure CRM side is Istanbul based Veripark, which also has lending operations, and Customer Effective. ABC's client, Alarm Detection Systems, won the Dynamic Business Award for Small and Medium Business while Tribridge customer, Shock Doctor, took home honors for Technology Innovation: Small Business.
