VAR STARS; SQUEEZING OUT INFO IN A TOUGH YEAR
This was not the easiest year to collect information for an award, especially with one that asks about revenue and staff size. Even though the VAR Stars award is not based on volume, but on quality, some people aren't thrilled to provide this information in the best of times.
And in tough times, some organizations just don't answer the call, or the email as it is in today's world. For those who didn't make the cut, please try again next year. Good companies have a way of coming back. For those who wonder about information that's not immediately used, it helps to educate me and that helps me serve you better. Getting a picture of all products and services offers picks up trends and has a habit of turning into stories later, even if it's not evidence immediately. This information does not get wasted.
