MERIT STARTS AX GROUP
Merit Solutions, a Dynamics reseller, has launched the AXUG Life Sciences Special Interest Group. Seven Dynamics AX users participated in the inaugural meeting at the Microsoft Convergence conference last month in New Orleans. “Quite a few more have expressed interest in participating going forward,” says Merit CEO Bill Burke.
He continued he would not be surprised to see 20 to 30 AX users in the SIG by next year with more than 10 in Europe. Merit markets a vertical industry application for life sciences companies called MaxLife [www.maxlifesoftware.com]. The reseller also has MaxCloud and MaxFood, along with a Risk Management Suite among its products. In addition, Merit sells Dynamics GP and CRM.
