SAGE ONE VP GETS EXPOSED
Sage has placed the photograph and bio sketch of its VP and general manager for Sage One North America on the executive page for Sage North America. Note, this does not say hired since the job’s occupant, Henry Benamram, took the position in July 2012 in Atlanta. He is also VP product management and product marketing for Sage 50 U.S. edition, a job he has held since February 2012.
A search of the Sage corporate and North American website produces no other references to Benamram. During the webcast for its first half 2013 earnings, CEO Guy Berruyer indicated his contentment with the go-slow approach in building the market for Sage One so I presume the prior lack of visibility for Benamram was deliberate. Benamram’s LinkedIn page actually gives his title as VP & GM for Sage One North America chez Sage North America, so yes, he’s another part of the French connection that includes Berruyer and North American CEO Pascal Houillon. His prior job was Directeur de la Division Sage Petites Entreprises, which he held from September 2008 until moving to Atlanta.
