SAGE 100 REVENUE UP 13 PERCENT Featured

Joe Langner, SageSage 100 had 13-percent year-over-year growth for the last year. The number was provided by Joe Langner, EVP of mid-market solutions. Langner gave those numbers, not reported in the Sage financial statements, and others during a briefing at the Sage Summit conference in Washington D.C. The  number matches the 13-percent Dynamics growth that Microsoft reported for the year ended June 30. Neither company releases actual revenue for the product sales.

Langer also reported Sage Intelligence sales were up 42 percent. The numbers cover the 12 months trailing June 30. Sage's year ends on September 30. Langner said Sage is selling a lot of new 100 units, but the announcement that the company will support Sage 500 for five years has caused VARs to sell larger customers on X3 and smaller ones on Sage 100. "We are selling larger deals on Sage 100," he said.  That includes more deals from $20,000 and $30,000 and above in end-user costs. The Sage revenue percentages reflect only those products. The Dynamics numbers are a blend of revenue from Dynamics CRM and Microsoft's four accounting products.
