Kevin Machayya, MicrosoftKevin Machayya, whose blog has been the voice for Dynamics, is leaving Microsoft this week. Machayya spent more than 15 years in the Dynamics world, first with Great Plains Software and then moving to Microsoft when it purchased the Fargo, N.D.-based company. In a blog post, he said he would be joining a Microsoft ISV, whose name he did not provide.

The Dynamics Partner Community Blog was not officially announced as the place to get Dynamics news over the last five years - at least not for the press. But it has been the most reliable place to find out important developments on channel programs and product news. Certainly, it has been the place to find information that is important in the Dynamics arena, but not important enough to the rest of the giant company to be mentioned in the press release section of the Microsoft website. Since January 2009, Machayya's official title has been senior partner marketing manager. His career with Great Plains started as a telesales representative in April 1998
