SAGE NA ABSORBS SAGEONE UNIT Featured

Henry Benamram, SageSage North America has absorbed the former unit that had been created to market its low-end, online SageOne product in the United States. The product line had been under general manager Henry Benamram, who goes from managing one of the company's most high-profile products to baby-sitting two of its oldest. SageOne now reports to a team headed by Scott Munro in Richmond, Va., and a spokesperson says the company is hiring a VP of alliances and marketing for Sage One.

"The Canadian version of Sage One launches later this year, so that's driving some of this," she says. The new structure enables the company to share R&D resources in the U.S. and Canada for the SageOne efforts. Meanwhile, Sage is transferring Timeslips and DacEasy to its Small Business operations from the Mid-Market. Benamram will manage those products and report to EVP Connie Certusi. This is like being transferred from managing the iPad account to being responsible for the CB radio market. Sage One and Sage 50 both report to Certusi and do not have general managers.
