Customers must opt to have information made available, but if they do, then resellers can also see information such as which Sage products are being used by the end user and how they are being used and the tool can utilize the data to predict if a customer has any needs that the channel can meet. Besides providing resellers with client support call histories, the dashboard can also track upcoming renewals and create import and export lists and integrate them into Sage CRM.

Sage North America is introducing the Sage Advisor Dashboard for Partners at the end of the month. The company says the online tool, available via the Sage Partner Portal, is designed to provide the channel with same kind of customer information that the vendor has. "If they call into tech support on how to use something, it captures that," was one example provided by Donald Deshaies, VP of channel management.
