Infor LN is an ERP application for large and mid-size manufacturers. Infor has been working with Red Hat since 2002, but Ed Boyajian, CEO of EnterpriseDB, says with the latest agreement the LN open source stack now includes the operating system, middleware (JBoss Enterprise Middleware solutions) and his company's database.

INFOR COLLABORATES WITH RED HAT Featured
Infor has collaborated with Red Hat and EnterpriseDB to make Infor LN ERP available on "a total open technology stack." Red Hat makes open source solutions and EnterpriseDB markets the PostgreSQL database. Infor CEO Charles Phillips said in a prepared statement the deal means "we can now offer our customers the choice to standardize on best-of-breed open solutions without compromising performance or functionality."
