RCM'S EARNINGS UP 25.3 PERCENT Featured

RCMNet income for RCM Technologies was up by 25.3 percent for the 13 weeks ended March 29, with revenue up 17.8 percent over a year earlier. Pennsauken, N.J.-based RCM offers a wide of technology services and products including Dynamics AX and QAD Workday, PeopleSoft and Oracle and derives revenue from three major segments, engineering, information technology and specialty healthcare. RCM was recently name channel partner of the year for manufacturing software vendor QAD.

Net income for the most recently ended period was $1.2 million, compared to $960,000 the prior year. Revenue was $48.6 million, up from $41.2 million from the prior year's corresponding period. Engineering is RCM's largest segment and produced $1.1 million out of slight more than $2 million in operating income from the recently reported 13 weeks. The segment also produced 55 percent of revenue at $24.7 million for the period. The IT business brought in just over $15 million or 31 percent of revenue while specialty health care produced $8.8 million or about 18.1 percent of revenue. The software products are part of the IT segment.
