CDC SOFTWARE UPS GUIDANCE

CDC Software is telling Wall Street that it expects net income to be 25-percent higher than guidance issued in August and 15 percent larger than updated guidance in November. The company, based in Shanghai and Atlanta, now predicts net income to range from $20.5 million to $21.5 million for 2009, which compared to the November guidance of $17.2 million to $19.3 million.
Guidance for EBITDA also increased with an expected range of $53.2 million to $54.5 million, which is 10 percent over August's range. More recently, CDC Software said it expected to report a 37 percent increase in license revenue and a 30 percent increase in organic license revenue for the fourth quarter ended December 31. The company markets the Ross ERP and Pivotal CRM applications.
