INTACCT HITS 100 RESELLING CPA FIRMS

Intacct is making a push to recruit a channel and now has more than 100 CPA firms reselling its product, according to VP Dan Druker. A lot more firms are in the pipeline and while Druker gave a number, I'll wait to see how close it gets to that.
Druker said the company is close to signing major dealers from the other guys' bases. Intacct also issued a press release about its growth in 2009. I'm not a big fan of press releases which talk about how much growth a company has had, but no numbers are revealed. Those who are interested can find them on Intaact's Web site. But it's clear that VARs looking for a SaaS product are going to companies like Intacct and NetSuite, largely because the big guys on the midmarket block, Sage and Microsoft, don't really have anything in the clouds. Not only are resellers from those two channels knocking on Intacct's door, but a lot of the Microsoft resellers "are building their own cloud solution because the vendors aren’t'," Druker said.
