These are 1. Get social; 2. Think about business apps; 3. Keep your channels clear; 4. Focus 5. Manage your mobile device, don't let it manage you. In terms of focus, Kelley wrote, "in my family we switch off our mobiles when we're having dinner together." Keeping a blog going can prove difficult for a CEO who has a lot of demands on time. But Kelley projects an image of greater energy and technology savvy than many executives so he's got a better-than-average chance of sustaining this effort. The other notable thing is that Kelley seems focused on keeping people's personal lives from being gobbled up by their business tasks so there's the potential for a company with an improved culture.Last modified on Friday, 13 February 2015
SAGE'S KELLEY STARTS BLOG Featured
Sage CEO Steve Kelley has started a blog about mobile technology. It's less important what the blog's content is on the Sage Group site at www.sage.com than the fact the top executive of this company has a blog. Long-time chief executive Paul Walker and Kelley's predecessor, Guy Berruyer, never tried anything like this that offers such a connection between Sage's customers and channel. Kelley's first posting offers several points, nothing terribly surprising.
