SAGE NAMES REVENUE EXEC Featured

Rich Spring, Sage Sage North America has hired Rich Spring as chief revenue officer. The company says his job focuses on the New Customer Acquisition Group. Spring had a long stint at anti-virus vendor Symantec where he worked from August 1994 through June 2013. In his final job, he was SVP for the Americas, although his LinkedIn Page does not show when he assumed that job. Sage will need to reshoot the executive photo page as Joe Langner is still part of the group shot, although his individual picture and bio has been removed.

Paul Bridgewater was named as CEO of Sage Payment Solutions and Jim Emerick as EVP of customer support last month, while Jim Pullen became VP of sales in February. Say cheese! The previous announcements Bridgewater, Emerick and Pullen report to North American CEO Pascal Houillon as does Spring. But you have to wonder if there are going to some changes there. It may be lonely at the top, but it's getting crowded just beneath that. Sage's announcement says Spring was a consulting advisor for Pritzker Group Venture Capital and held sales leadership roles with Veritas Software. Perhaps those two engagements fit the period after June 2013, although his LinkedIn page shows neither.
