SAGE NAMES CHANNEL COUNCIL Featured

SageSage has named members to the reconstituted Business Partner Advisory Council. This is relatively old news, but I think important to deliver. A sore point with departed executives, North American CEO Pascal Houillon and SVP Joe Langner, was their perceived hostility to the channel and that included having disbanded the prior council. I should say that the failure of the company to put out press releases on this subject shows however much enthusiasm the leadership has about the channel, there was not enough to put out a press release about this. In any event, the council members are generally well-known members of the reselling community.

These are Peter Kaufman, ADSS Global; Dave Cieslak, Arxis Technology; Derek Sullivan, Atlantic Data Systems; Wendy Gorrie, Baass Business Solutions; Frank Leonard, Baesis; Steve Blythe, Blytheco; Bob Kohlmeyer, DWD Technology Group; John Hoyt, Hutchinson and Bloodgood; Kerry Mann, Mantralogix; Lorrie Harris, Micro Accounting Solutions; Alex Solomon, Net@Work; Eric Frank, NexTec Group; Joe Noll, RKL eSolutions; Sonia Ferrera, Southeast Computer Solutions; and Jeff Roth, SWK Technologies. It would be very interesting to see what percentage of Sage's North American revenue this group generates. The one important VAR missing is DSD Business Solutions (see related story this week). It's simpler to say, the ones not on Bob Scott's Top 100 VAR lists are Atlantic Data, Baesis, Hutchinson and Mantralogix, Also, it's interesting that in a company whose channel was once dominated by accounting firms, the representatives of that group are DWD, H&B and RKL.
