MACOLA CHANNEL PLANS OUTLINED Featured

Gayle Prokop, Exact Macola Exact Macola has outlined a five-point plan in what it calls a high-level strategy to change its approach to the channel. The plan was detailed by Gayle Prokop, director of alliances and channel development, at this week's Exact Macola Edge 2015, its channel conference. The first was a general plan of "evolving" the Unity Partner Program that was launched in February. More specific is the intent to develop "a structured, certification-based enablement program" and to add employees to the channel organization.

The software publisher also plans to enable collaboration with professional services and expand the technology partner community. The company did not publish details of the plan. There had been no attempt to expand the reseller program for the Macola software until Alison Forsyth was named managing director of Exact Macola in early April 2013. There are 33 Macola resellers listed on the company's website. There are two new ones that have been added during the new regime, both in Latin America. Otherwise, the channel in this country has been stuck on 31 for several years.
