CFO INTERIM SAGE N.A.PRESIDENT Featured

Marc Scheipe, Sage North AmericaMarc Scheipe, CFO for Sage North America, has taken over as the unit's interim president. And so comes to an end the four-month return of Jodi Uecker-Rust to Sage North America in that role. The announcement was made by Sage Group CEO Stephen Kelly, who said the company will continue to search for a North American head. Kelly praised Uecker-Rust this way: "Jodi has provided great leadership and created strong momentum and foundations for success."

That came only after I posted on Facebook a couple of hours ago that Sage's fiscal year had just ended and it was time to take bets on which execs would leave. Kelly swore support for the channel and noted the recent hiring of Paige Erickson as VP of channel strategy and programs, reporting to chief revenue officer Rich Spring. Spring will report to Scheipe. Uecker-Rust, a former Great Plains executive, served as president of the short-lived Sage Business Solutions from Feb. 9, 2009 through early October 2010. She returned to Sage temporarily after the company dumped North American CEO Pascal Houillon.
