The company reported $1.1 million in net income for the third quarter, an increase of 4.9 percent from $976,000 a year earlier. Revenue of $31.2 million in the most recently reported period was 8.5-percent higher than $28.7 million last year. The Dynamics AX VAR said it had slightly more than $2 million in software revenue, up 47.8 percent from $1.4 million in last year's corresponding period. Service income for the recent quarter was $27.2 million, a rise of 8.1 percent from $25.1 million a year ago.
