DYNAMICS GP, NAV EXAMS OPEN Featured

Joe Carroll, Association of Dynamics Professionals The Association of Dynamics Professionals has opened exams for those wishing to achieve certification in Dynamics GP and NAV. Exams were held in New York, N.Y.; Minneapolis, Minn.; Houston, Texas, and Phoenix, Ariz. "Beginning this month, any member of the Dynamics professional community can also earn Dynamics NAV and GP certification," notes Joe Carroll, the association's executive director. The association is also offering international testing starting with the Netherlands on March 29 and Midlands, England on April 5.

The tests are designed to replace certification programs that Microsoft dropped for Dynamics GP, NAV, SL and RMS in the summer of 2014. The program tiers are basic and advanced, and master's. The business model for the testing is intended to be similar to that used by the Project Management Institute for its Project Management Professional credential. The rest of the exam schedule is as follows: Atlanta, Ga., March 2; Las Vegas, Nev., March 10; Washington D.C., March 15; Minneapolis, March 22; Phoenix, March 22; Tampa, Fla., April 7; Chicago, Ill., April 7; and Irvine, Calif., April 12. Dynamics Pro is an independent, not-for-profit organization. Fees for exams and membership support the groups effort to be self-supporting and self-funding.
