ADAPTIVE SUITE SOUPED UP Featured

adaptiveAdaptive Insights has made a lot of enhancements to its cloud-based Adaptive Suite 2016.2. But anytime I see the word "Excel" I hone in on the accountant's favorite tool. Adaptive already featured Excel-based reporting capabilities. But now, the application enables users to view their plans and perform data entry in Excel. The suite offers a new Active Sparklines feature via which trend analysis is now combined with data entry.

Sparklines, small, word-size charts, show data trends and with the introduction of visual data editing, Sparklines in the Suite are now interactive. Also available is single-click analytics for creating data visualizations directly in the planning process by clicking selected data in an Adaptive Planning 'sheet.' In addition, the Adaptive Integration platform was extended across the entire Adaptive Suite, including Adaptive Planning, Consolidation and Discovery. Users can extract data from systems, such as Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics GP, and Salesforce.com, through what the company refers to as a "click-not-code" web interface and use it in any Adaptive Insights application. A new preconfigured NetSuite adapter is now available that enables users to bring more types of NetSuite data such as project, employee and vendor data into the Adaptive Suite.
