MicrosoftDynamics revenue for Microsoft's fiscal year ended June 30 rose 4 percent over 2015 totals. The change was attributed primarily to higher revenue from Dynamics CRM Online which suggests the four financial packages are stagnant, something the last couple of financial reports have indicated. However foreign currency also whacked 6 percent from the category's income.

Microsoft said the number of Dynamics Online seat additions for 2016 were more than double the growth the prior year. Dynamics results are lumped under Productivity and Business Processes, which at $26.5 billion in revenue showed no growth from the prior year. It is doubtful Dynamics is much as 10 percent of total. Microsoft noted that its pending acquisition of LinkedIn will accelerate growth for both Office 365 and Dynamics.
