MACOLA UPDATES PARTNER PROGRAM Featured

Alison Forsythe, MacolaMacola has rolled out version 2. of its Unity Partner Program, which was originally introduced in January 2015. Macola also said it is continuing to enroll new VARS. "Since it was unveiled more than two years ago, the Macola Unity Partner Program has been the cornerstone of our channel-driven strategy," managing director Alison Forsythe said in a prepared statement.

That strategy was described in September 2015 as moving to an-all VAR sales plan. The Columbus, Ohio-based Exact Software division says it has enhanced incentives for resellers across tiers for new site sales of Macola 10. There will also be new marketing development funds for each tier. Exact also increased the new site license deal registration incentive to be offered across all tiers. The software company also added a bronze tier level, which is described as lowering barriers for entry into the program. The company's press release and the web page describing the Unity Program does not spell out the significant differences between the gold, silver and bronzes levels. Exact has moved back and forth from making the name Macola more prominent than Exact, having dropped Exact from the Macola URL. But it now seems to be re-emphasizing the company name.
